《MAN X MAN》是一部以特殊警卫要员金蔎雨与Topstar汝云光的兄弟情作为焦点展开的故事。国情院ghost要员金蔎雨（朴海镇饰），只有国情院内部少数上级才能知道他的存在，总是摆著一副高冷的扑克牌脸，他的新任务是担任韩流明星的警卫。而Topstar汝云光则是个受到金蔎雨积极保护的人物，有著特级韩流star背后不为人知的故事，并且是个隐藏著致命魅力的人物。
电影讲述了退休军官老丁(洪金宝饰)因“健忘症”弄丢孙女，内疚回到老家。邻居小女孩春花(陈沛妍 饰)成为他的慰藉。可女孩的父亲(刘德华饰)无意卷入了当地黑帮团伙的争斗中。老丁为营救春花挺身而出，也寻回那份作为军人的骄傲和弥补作为爷爷的过错。
为了维持婚姻，女主给男主戴绿帽子，说这是现在存在的一种爱情方式，而且女主也可以和那些有事业经验的人交流，提升自己。
