世纪之初，以生物科技和大型连锁超市在台湾高雄撑起一方天下的瑞林公司，通过高科技项目在台上市，成为商界的焦点。瑞林公司董事长林再天(王识贤饰)，偕同好友沈浩南(温兆伦饰)共同管理瑞林，二人和小关(魏斌饰)三人情同手足。一次，浩南云南公干，误入丁昆(侯天来饰)设计的圈套，被迫出卖公司利益以求自保，瑞林公司因此遭受重大打击，濒临倒闭。林再天肩负兄弟情义和公司危亡来到云南，极力挽救瑞林集团，却也于事无补，瑞林公司最终倒闭。
